Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms relating to cancellations, deposits, refunds, and rescheduling for services provided by Love Building Co and Brush and Bond.

      1. Quotes & Acceptance

All quotes provided are valid for the period stated on the quote.

Acceptance of a quote confirms your agreement to proceed with the outlined scope of work and acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.

      2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your booking, schedule work, purchase materials, or reserve time within our work schedule.
Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has been scheduled, materials have been purchased, or preparation work has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

      3. Cancellations  Before Work Commences

If a project is cancelled after a quote has been accepted but before work has commenced, a cancellation fee may apply.

This fee may reflect costs already incurred, including materials purchased, preparation work undertaken, administration, and scheduling commitments.

      4. Cancellations After Work Has Commenced

If a project is cancelled after work has commenced:

  • Payment is required for all work completed up to the date of cancellation.
  • Any materials purchased specifically for the project must be paid for.
  • Additional costs may apply depending on the stage of the project and commitments already made.

Work completed prior to cancellation remains payable regardless of whether the project proceeds to completion.

      5. Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change and will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests to reschedule.

However, sufficient notice must be provided. Late changes may impact scheduling and may incur additional costs where resources, materials, or labour have already been allocated.

Due to the nature of our services, refunds are generally not provided once work has been completed.

If you have concerns regarding workmanship, these must be reported within 7 days of completion. We will assess any valid workmanship issues and, where appropriate, rectify them within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

Materials that have been purchased, custom ordered, tinted, cut, manufactured, or otherwise prepared specifically for a project are non-refundable.

The client is responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and ensuring the work area is ready for scheduled works.

Delays caused by lack of access, site readiness, client delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may result in additional charges, rescheduling requirements, or revised completion timeframes.
