Terms and Conditions

      1. Scope of Work

Love Building Co and Brush and Bond agree to provide handyman and/or painting services as outlined in the agreed estimate, proposal, invoice, or written communication.

Any additional work, variations, unforeseen issues, or requests outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

Where unforeseen conditions are discovered after work has commenced, including hidden damage, structural issues, access difficulties, additional preparation requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Love Building Co and/or Brush and Bond reserves the right to provide a revised quote or variation before proceeding.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of the agreed work and receipt of invoice.

For larger projects, deposits or progress payments may be required and will be outlined in the estimate or proposal.

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. Failure to make payment may result in the actions outlined in Section 3 (Late Payments).

      4. Cancellations

If a client cancels a project after accepting a quote and prior to commencement, a cancellation fee may apply. This fee will reflect any costs already incurred, including materials purchased, scheduling commitments, and preparation work.

Where work has been completed, payment remains due regardless of any subsequent cancellation or dispute unless otherwise agreed in writing.

      5. Changes to Scope of Work

Any changes requested after the project has commenced may result in additional charges. These will be discussed and agreed upon before the work proceeds.

      6. Access & Preparation

The client agrees to provide access to the property at the agreed times to allow work to be completed efficiently.

The client is responsible for ensuring the area is adequately prepared, including moving furniture and protecting personal belongings unless otherwise agreed.

Love Building Co and Brush and Bond are not responsible for moving furniture, fixtures, or personal belongings unless specifically arranged in advance.

Love Building Co and Brush and Bond are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Any defects or concerns must be reported within 7 days of project completion. We will assess and rectify any valid workmanship issues within a reasonable timeframe.

Minor imperfections that are only visible under specific lighting conditions, unusual viewing angles, or close inspection do not constitute defects.

Love Building Co and Brush and Bond will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from failure to follow instructions or recommendations provided during the project.

We are not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, defects, hidden damage, or conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or services provided will be handled through open communication.

If required, both parties agree to attempt resolution through negotiation or mediation before pursuing further action.

      10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

All services provided by Love Building Co and Brush and Bond operate under this jurisdiction.

Love Building Co and Brush and Bond will not be responsible for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather conditions, restricted access, client delays, material shortages, supplier delays, or unforeseen site conditions.

Where delays result in additional costs, these may be charged to the client and will be discussed prior to proceeding.
