So, what do you do when you return from a fabulous trip to the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA and can’t stop dreaming of palm trees, pink flamingos, and vintage charm? Naturally, you bring the magic home.

That’s exactly what our client, Vanessa, set out to do. After a fun-filled family holiday in Los Angeles, she was inspired to bring a splash of that Beverly Hills glamour into her own backyard. Rather than letting the inspiration fade, she reached out to us to make it a reality. Together, we began planning a transformation that would bring colour, character, and joy to her Wannanup pool house.

Turning a Blank Canvas into a Backyard Gem

When we arrived, the structure was already in place, but it was essentially a blank canvas. There was no flooring, the walls were plain, and the space lacked warmth and life. Therefore, our mission for this Mandurah pool house makeover was clear from the start.

We needed to:

• ✔️ Paint both the interior and exterior with crisp, fresh base colours
  
• ✔️ Add hand-painted pink and green ceiling stripes as a bold nod to classic Beverly Hills style
  
• ✔️ Prepare the walls for fun flamingo and palm tree stickers
  
• ✔️ Lay composite decking inside to complete the transformation
  

Bit by bit, the space began to come alive. As a result, what started as a forgotten corner of the backyard quickly evolved into a standout alfresco feature.
